Meanwhile, some GOP leaders are preemptively cancelling gatherings for fear of blowback since President Trump’s “slash and burn” campaign to reduce the government began.Saying Goodbye. Actor Gene Hackman, his wife and one of his dogs were discovered dead in their home last week, prompting investigations into their causes of death.
